Known Issues

We’re aware of the following issues and are working on resolutions in upcoming updates:

  • Some beta hubs are offline - If you are experiencing this issue, please fill out the form below.

  • Director app is not able to update Hub firmware when tapping “Check for Update” under the Settings > Hub Info page. Updates will continue to automatically be installed overnight.

  • The http interface within the hub is not available so third party software controllers such as Home Assistant are not compatible.

Previous issues that have been fixed:

  • Hub offline after firmware - if you are currently experiencing this, please fill out the form below.

  • Daylight Savings Time change caused sunrise and sunset times to trigger earlier than expected

  • Fixed an issue where it was impossible to re-enable "Observe DST" in Director after disabling it once

  • Alexa voice control for incremental dim or brighten fails to control device.

  • Improved stability when reading device records.

  • Network reset didn’t work.

  • Network diagnostic test didn’t work.

  • Device states are not tracked on third party integrations such as Amazon Alexa which will cause the integration to error when attempting to control a device.

  • Schedules may not run as expected due to a time keeping bug. This includes sunrise/sunset tracking.

  • Hub is incorrectly and aggressively polling sensors - this can interrupt programming causing errors in Director.

  • Enabling DST switch in Director may cause the hub time to shift unexpectedly. If you see this, disable DST and then re-save location.

  • Director app may not allow adjusting the sunrise/sunset offsets.

  • Director app crashes when visiting the Settings page.

  • LED can incorrectly show red indicating a problem connecting but connection is fine.

Report an Issue

Before filling out the form below, please make sure you know the version of Director that you are using and the version of firmware your Hub 3 is running. Also, any issue reported should be reproducible. Meaning that if you experienced an issue, following the same steps, is the issue repeatable?

Beta Hub Firmware Release Notes

When new firmware becomes available, the Hub will download and install automatically between 2AM-5AM local time.

  • Fixes an issue introduced in previous firmware release which soft-locked some Hubs, requiring a firmware restore to recover.
