When attempting to delete a device, an error is presented that states the device is currently in use by one or more scenes.
Before the device can be removed from the Insteon Hub, it must first be removed from these scenes. Follow the steps below to identify the scenes to which the affected device belongs.
- Tap the device
- Tap the plus sign beneath the Quick Control
- Tap Settings > Edit This
- Tap Scene Memberships
Here you will see all of the scenes to which this device belongs. Before the device can be deleted from the Insteon Hub, you will need to remove the device from each of the listed scenes.
