ISY - Configure network settings

Last Updated: Jul 28, 2016 01:28PM PDT
For remote access to your ISY it will typically be a good idea to set a static address for your controller. You can find these settings in the Settings sub menu of the Configuration tab.

On this configuration settings tab we will find a box that will show the network settings of the ISY.

By default the ISY will have DHCP enabled this will automatically assign an IP address and other network information based on your router.

To change these defaults you would simply uncheck the Automatic (DHCP) box and input an IP address. Most home routers will have a Subnet Mask of and the gateway is the address of your router. If you are unsure what you should enter for this information, you can see your default gateway address, subnet mask, and DNS address by opening a command prompt and typing the command - ipconfig. This will display your network's current settings.

Once you have input this information you may also want to change the Http port and the Https port.

As you can see from this example we have changed the Http Port to 25110 and the Https Port to 8443.

When you are finished inputting your settings make sure you click save for changes to take effect.
