ISY - Setting up schedules

Last Updated: Jul 28, 2016 01:28PM PDT
The Programs tab of the Admin Console is where you can set up your conditional programming to tell the ISY how your devices work. For this example we will create a simple timer that will turn the front lights on to 50% at sunset.

To create a new program we will select the Programs tab and click the Details sub-menu. At the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the New Program button.

This will create a new program in your My Programs folder (remember to name it) with a blank If/Then statement you can configure. Click on If in the top right hand side of the screen and at the bottom of your screen you will see the available options for you If statement. To set up a schedule click schedule and we can configure when we want this device to operate.

You will want to check the days you want this schedule to run. For Sunset we will drop down the box on the right and select Sunset.

When the schedule looks the way you want it to in this bottom section of the screen click the Add to 'If' button to add this to the scene's parameters.

Once you have added your 'If' Statement click 'Then' from the top right hand side of the screen to see your available actions below (where we just set our schedule).

Here we will drop down the box labeled 'Set' and select the device or scene you want to turn on at Sunset. The drop down to the far right will determine the level this device or scene will go on to. (You can also have devices or scenes turn off from this drop down) When your Action is set how you would like it, click Add to 'Then' to add this line to the program statement above.

For this program, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Sunset, the ISY will set the Front Door Light on to 50%

Make sure you click Save changes in order for this information to be saved in the ISY's memory. (This button can be found in the bottom left corner of the screen)
